Ch Shujat Hussain birthday cake cut during Minhajul Quran negotiations

Lahore: During the negotiations between Pakistan Muslim League President Senator Ch Shujat Hussain led govt. allies team and Dr Tahirul Qadri, cake was also cut to celebrate 68th birthday of Ch Shujat Hussain. Ch Shujat Hussain and Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed were very warmly received by Dr Tahirul Qadri when they reached his residence. Afterwards, prior to the negotiations in the Minhajul Quran Secretariat here today, birthday cake of Ch Shujat Hussain was cut. Members of the negotiating team including Makhdoom Amin Faheem, Qamaruzzaman Kaira, Syed Khurshid Shah, Afrasiab Khattak, Senator Abbas Afridi, Syed Khurshid Shah, Dr Farooq Sattar, Babar Ghauri, Ehsan Wyen, Akram Zaki and other leaders very enthusiastically felicitated Ch Shujat Hussain.

Replying to questions before the start of negotiations, Ch Shujat Hussain and Mushahid Hussain Sayed said that those criticizing the constitutional status of the Declaration should know that on behalf of the Federal Government, it has been signed by the Prime Minister of Pakistan. In response to a query, Ch Shujat Hussain said that Federal Law Minister Farooq H. Naek has been summoned to Islamabad by President Zardari but this will not affect negotiations, Peoples Party Parliamentarians President Makhdoom Amin Faheem is present in the govt. team. Ch Shujat Hussain further said that we should expect positive negotiations.
