MQM’s MPA Manzar Imam killed along with three gunmen

Lahore:Un identify attackers have targeted MQM MPA Manzar Imam along with his three gunmen in a city congested area today in Karachi.According to the police ,the accused had hiddened them on the way of Manzar Imam and opened fire as they saw him.Manzar ‘security guards even didn’t find enough time to retaliate.All the injured were being taken to the near by hospital but they took their last breath before getting medical treatment.

As the info of this killing spread ,the city turned into warzone and arieel firing was listened in every esquire of the town.Police have started investigation after regisering the case.Manzar Imam and his gunmen funeral will be offered tomorrow.

MQM has announced three days mourning on the sad incident of the killing of their senior worker and MPA Manzar Imam and his gunmen.

Meanwhile President Asif Ali Zardari,PM Raja Pervaiz Ashraf,Interior Minister Rehman Malik,ANP president Asfan Yar Wali,Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Imran Khan has expressed grief and sorrow over the unfortunate incident in Orangi Town, Karachi on Thursday that resulted in the loss of precious lives including Syed Manzar Imam, Member Provincial Assembly MQM. PTI strongly condemns the brutal killings and holds that the cowardly incident is a vicious attempt to the destroy law and order in the city.The incident is a continuation of the wave of terrorism gripping the country which has engendered a pervading sense of insecurity among common people.

Different Political leaders have demanded federal and provincial governments to direct the law enforcing agencies to take immediate action to bring the culprits to justice.They have offered heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls.

Meanwhile,Pakistani Taliban TTP have claimed responsibility of Killing MQM MPA Syed Manzar Imam today.
The spokesman of TTP says that we had promised protection for the people of Karachi from MQM and that we will continue to take action. rather, he added, we will speed up our activities against MQM.
He said that it is our second action against MQM, the first one was an attack on their rally.
