Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that the youngest Information Technology expert, Arfa Karim, was a brilliant, intelligent and highly capable daughter of Pakistan. He said Arfa Karim achieved remarkable success in the field of information technology, despite her young age, and brought fame to the country due to her God-gifted talent.
In his message on the occasion of first death anniversary of the youngest IT expert, Arfa Karim, the Chief Minister said that brilliant daughters, like Arfa Karim are the hope of the country. He said, although Arfa Karim is no longer amongst us, but Punjab government is furthering her mission of promotion of information technology. He said Punjab government has taken substantial steps for the promotion of information technology, and setting up of modern Information Technology labs at high schools, throughout Punjab, and distribution of laptops on merit among students is a part of that mission. He said Punjab government named Information Technology Park after the youngest information technology expert, Arfa Karim.
