Spokesman of Punjab Govt refutes allegations leveled by Tahir ul Qadri

Lahore: A spokesman of Punjab government has termed the accusations leveled by Tahir-ul-Qadri against Punjab government as totally wrong and baseless. The spokesman said that all kind of traffic on the roads is plying smoothly throughout the province including Lahore and all petrol pumps are open. He said that neither Punjab government has tried to close any petrol pump nor pressurized any transporter not to give transport for long march.

The spokesman said that the allegations leveled by Tahir-ul-Qadri regarding arrest of workers of Pakistan Awami Tehreek and Tehreek-e-Minhaj ul Quran and removing the camps set up for long march are also a bundle of lies. He said that neither Punjab government had arrested any person nor had removed any camp of long march. The spokesman asked Tahir-ul-Qadri to tell the name of any person who has been arrested by the government in connection with the long march and any camp removed from any area of the Punjab so that facts could be brought before the people.
