Abbas Sharif passes away

Abbas Sharif funeral was offered in Jati Ummra Raiwind in the evening,hundreds of people attended the funeral ceremony,later he was buried near by the grave of his father Mian Sharif.A large number of politicians, bureaucrats,social workers,members of civil society including Nawaz Sharif’s old friend and present political rival Ch Shujaat Hussain,Ch Pervaiz Elahi,Kh Saad Rafique,Kh Asif,Khurram Dastgir,former president Rafique tarrar, Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs Mian Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo, politicians including General Secretary PPP, Jehangir Badar leaders ,Rana Mashud,Rana Iqbal,Mian Marghoob etc attended the funeral ceremony.

Abbas Sharif was a kind-hearted man and a known philanthropist.He was very much popular among the poors of the locality.He used to help the needy persons with open heart according to their needs and never care about the money.

Though he was a non political personality but one time he remain member national assembly.

Mian Nawaz Sharif and Mian Shahbaz Sharif will meet those coming for condolences on Saturday, January 12, from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm Jati Umra Raiwind whereas Qul of late Abbas Sharif will be held on Sunday, January 13, at 1.00 pm at Jati Umra Raiwind.
