Nawaz Sharif condoles with Qazi Hussain’s sons
Lahore: President Pakistan Muslim League-N, Nawaz Sharif, Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Ch. Nisar Ali Khan went to the native residence of former Ameer Jamat-e-Islami Qazi Hussain Ahmed and condoled the death of late Qazi Hussain Ahmed with his sons and brother. President PML-N KPK Pir Sabir Shah, other leaders Engr. Ameer Muqam, Khawaja Muhammad Khan Hoti, Provincial Information Minister Mian Iftikhar, Naib Ameer Jamat-e-Islami and former Senior Provincial Minister KPK Siraj ul Haq, PML-N leader Mufti Naveed ul Hassan and a large number of PML and Jamaat-e-Islami workers were present on the occasion.
President Pakistan Muslim League-N, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Ch. Nisar Ali Khan offered fateha for the departed soul.
Eulogizing the religious and political services of late Qazi Hussain Ahmed, PML-N President Muhammad Nawaz Sharif said on the occasion that late Qazi Hussain Ahmed vigorously struggled for Islam, Pakistan and Islamic world. He said that due to the death of late Qazi Hussain Ahmed, Pakistan and Islamic world have lost a sagacious and sincere leader and the void created due to his death will not be fulfilled for a long time. Nawaz Sharif said that when he was Chief Minister Punjab, he had relation with Qazi Hussain Ahmed and he is deeply shocked over his death like a member of his family, friends and workers of Jamaat-e-Islami. He said that there are only a few people like Qazi Hussain Ahmed who have been serving the Islam and Pakistan for the whole life.
Expressing his views on the occasion, Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that Qazi Hussain Ahmed had devoted himself to serve Pakistan and Islam and he always struggled for making Pakistan an Islamic and democratic country in a real sense. Shahbaz Sharif said that Qazi Hussain Ahmed had a personal relation with him and Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and he had also close relations with our late father. The Chief Minister said that his death has caused a great loss to Pakistan and Islamic world. Leader of the Opposition Ch. Nisar Ali Khan said, on this occasion, that Qazi Hussain Ahmed was not only close to Jamaat-e-Islami but also to Muslim League and he was an important leader of the country. He said that he is deeply shocked over his death. Ch. Nisar Ali Khan disclosed that the name of Qazi Hussain Ahmed was on top of those names which were being proposed by PML-N as a caretaker Prime Minister but he himself refused. He said that the political and religious services of late Qazi Hussain Ahmed will be remembered forever.
Naib Ameer Jamat-e-Islami and former Senior Provincial Minister KPK Siraj ul Haq thanked Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and Ch. Nisar Ali Khan on behalf of sons and brother of Qazi Hussain Ahmed and people of KPK for visiting Peshawar to express their condolences despite a bad weather. He said that they are thankful to PML-N leaders for sharing their grief.
