Lahore: Leaders of PML-N belonging to Faisalabad called on Punjab Chief Minister, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif at Model Town, today. Provincial Minister for Law Rana Sanaullah Khan, former Speaker Punjab Assembly Afzal Sahi, Talal Chaudhary, Haji Muhammad Sharif, Rajab Baloch, Israr Khan and Farooq Khan were also present on the occasion. Political situation and organizational matters of the party were discussed during the meeting.
Talking on the occasion, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that due to politics of public service, the popularity of PML-N is increasing day by day. He expressed the hope that after the glorious victory in bye-elections, PML-N will also win general elections. He said that the political opponents are afraid of the increasing popularity of PML-N. Shahbaz Sharif stressed that holding of general elections in time is vital for the stability of the country. He vowed that no conspiracy for postponement of general elections will be allowed to succeed. He said that the designs of imported elements would be foiled. The Chief Minister said that the day of accountability of Zar Babar Forty Thieves has come near and people will hold them strictly accountable. Shahbaz Sharif said that the Punjab government has set new records of public service and merit and transparency is seen in every project of Punjab. He said that if people gave a chance to serve them again, the destiny of Pakistan will be changed. Leaders of PML-N while talking on the occasion said that the Chief Minister Muhammad Shabhaz Sharif is serving the people round the clock as the Khadim-e-Punjab in the real sense.
