Lahore: Member National Assembly, Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said that after supporting Tahir-ul-Qadri, . He said that the alliance of Tahir-ul-Qadri and MQM is, in fact, like an illegal pillion-riding and it is not known who is riding and who is sitting behind. But it is clear that people have recognized the real faces of these anti-democratic elements and will soon challan them, he added.

In a statement, Khawaja Asif said that on what grounds those who supported a dictator Pervez Musharraf in the past, are talking about election reforms. He said that the masses know well that these are the people who had claimed to elect Pervaiz Musharraf as President ten times in uniform. He said that MQM which raise the slogans in favour of democracy has now fully exposed to the people for supporting the confused and undemocratic agenda of Tahir-ul-Qadri. He said that when the democratic forces were struggling for peoples’ government during Musharraf era, MQM was enjoying the power under the umbrella of a dictator whereas Tahir-ul-Qadri was enjoying the cool breezes of Canada.
