Lahore: Minister Education Punjab Mian Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman has said that and economy as well. He said that Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Training Institute (AMETI) is providing training & education to students who are able to get jobs after successful completion of their course and this is in accordance to the vision of our Quaid and should be our goal for man power development as a nation. He said that many students will come to know of this institute (AMETI) and after seeking quality education will make a name for Pakistan in Aviation as they have done in other walks of life.
He expressed these views at the Certificate Distributing Ceremony among the Aircraft Engineers at AMETI new airport Lahore. Patron-in-Chief AMETI, Syed Tahir Hussain and Principal Muhammad Latif also addressed on the occasion. The minister gave away certificates to the successful engineers.
Mian Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman said that education is the top priority of the provincial government and the government has taken new initiatives in the field of education. He said that provincial government is spending rupees 195 billion on education during current fiscal year. He said that such training courses will also be initiated in public sector engineering educational institutes/universities.
