Ch. Shujaat Hussain has insulted by declaring CEC part of PML-N: Abid Sher Ali

Lahore: Member National Assembly Abid Sher Ali has said that Chaudhry Brothers have lost their senses after crushing defeat in by-elections and instead of ascertaining the causes of their defeat, they have started raising hue and cry against Election Commission.

Commenting upon the statement of Ch. Shujaat Hussain, he said that Ch. Shujaat Hussain has insulted the major political parties and political system of the country by declaring a unanimous and impartial Chief Election Commissioner as of being of PML-N. Abid Sher Ali said that if the unanimous Chief Election Commissioner is not acceptable to Chaudhry Brothers, it would be better for them to quit politics and not take part in general elections. He said that the by-elections was a trailer and the entire film will be screened in general elections.

Abid Sher Ali said that a dictator had appointed a puppet Chief Election Commissioner in consultation with Ch. Brothers and they had achieved the results of their own choice. He said that the objection by head of the party of Deputy Prime Minister against a unanimous Election Commission is ridiculous. He said that if Chaudhry Brothers are not satisfied with the independence of Election Commission, they should go to Zardari and raise objection to Zardari instead of raising hue and cry. He said that an impartial Chief Election Commissioner having a good repute has been appointed in consultation with opposition leader under the constitution.
