PTI condemns Karachi blast

Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Chairman Imran Khan, Vice Chairman PTI Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Secretary General Dr. Arif Alvi, President Javed Hashmi and Information secretary Shafqat Mahmood has strongly condemned the blast in Karachi, near Ayesha Manzil, Federal B Area that resulted in the loss of precious lives on Tuesday evening. PTI condemns these groups using violence as a weapon to achieve their evil ends. The party expects a thorough investigation in response to this heinous crime and calls for government action against this kind of barbarism, and warned that, if left unchecked, this menace can endanger the country.

There is a need to address weaknesses in the system of law enforcement. Once voted into power PTI will ensure that law and order is restored in the country and special attention is paid to creating harmony in the country. The State’s capacity to manage policing and public prosecution in an effective way is a key issue. Political actors and the state are more interested in political mileage rather than curbing these incidents of violence. It is time for us to face the reality and, instead of blaming others for our problems, admit that many of these problems stem from our government’s inaction. Chairman PTI expressed deep sorrow to the bereaved families, offered his condolences and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
