Punjab Government believes in public service:Malik Ahmed Ali

Lahore: Provincial Minister for Irrigation and Agriculture, Malik Ahmed Ali has said that Punjab government is fully implementing its public-welfare programme by considering politics as a form of worship. Comprehensive steps are being taken for the improvement of various sectors including agriculture, livestock, education, health and infrastructure in order to raise the living standard of the people, he added.

He expressed these views while talking to media during an open kutchehry held at Minar-e-Pakistan, here today. The Minister said that on the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, basic problems of the people are being resolved at their doorstep and holding of open kutchehries is a part of it due  to which people are getting relief. He told that all record is being maintained besides ensuring resolution of people’s problems and complaints at Minar-e-Pakistan open kutchehry. He said that the complainants are also being informed about the pace of departmental progress regarding their complaints.

Malik Ahmed Ali said that thousands of people are benefiting from these open kutchehries and their problems pertaining to education and health are being resolved on priority basis. He said that due to development of infrastructure throughout the province, the living standard of the people will be improved. The Minister listened to the problems of the people in open kutchehry and issued instructions to the concerned departments for redressal of their problems.
