Scottish and British Parliamentarians honoured Rescue 1122 visiting team

Lahore: The Members of have honored Dr. Rizwan Naseer, Director General Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) and the District Emergency Officers of the Service in Scotland by arranging a dinner where they lauded the services of Director General and his team in Pakistan.

A 12-member team of Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) under the leadership of Director General is presently doing Command Course at the Strathclyde Fire & Rescue Training Centre in Scotland.

The dinner was attended by Anas Sarwar, Member British Parliament, Hanzala Malik, Member Scottish Parliament, Glasgow City Councilor’s and members of the business community, who made it a very welcoming event.

At this occasion, Hanzala Malik Member Scottish Parliament said that he was once again honored to assist in arranging the training after receiving a request from the Chief Minister of the Punjab.

He also promised to help in developing a better working relationship between Punjab and Scotland and offered training in other fields to other emergency organizations in Pakistan conditioning of showing excellent performance like Rescue 1122. He further said that DG Rescue 1122 Dr. Rizwan Naseer was playing a leading role in Pakistan pertaining to dealing with emergencies and working relentlessly to introduce a Safer Pakistan on international level. Other participants also appreciated the working of Rescue 1122 and hoped that all organizations would start to work like Rescue 1122 in Pakistan.
