Addressing different public meetings in Muzaffarabad, Sher Shah, Chowk Sarwar Shaheed, Chowk Azam and Layyah, Imran Khan said that the PML-N leadership was obsessed with ‘Imranophobia’ and the Sharif family was making efforts to win loyalties of youth by dolling out laptop schemes. He said that while the rulers were involved in corruption, the people had to face the brunt of skyrocketing prices.

“The PML-N leader ruled the Punjab which is 62 percent of country five times while the PPP ruled the country four times but both of them did nothing for the people of Punjab or the people of Pakistan. What both the parties did was to loot and plunder the country’s resources. While the country was going down and the poor were becoming poorer, these families were becoming wealthier. The people should ponder as to how many times would they try these corrupt parties again and again. They should think about their future generations. The youth would lead the fight against these corrupt politicians in the next elections,” remarked the PTI chief.
Imran Khan said that the PPP and the PML-N had struck an underhand deal for power sharing and both were conspiring against the PTI. He said that the PTI was the only political party which banked on the youngsters and it would award party tickets to youth for the upcoming general elections. He said that the youth fury would battle out the corrupt mafia in elections and youth would win.

During his speeches, the PTI chairman specifically focused the issues faced by the farming community and said that due to the ill-conceived policies of the Punjab government, the farmers were suffering.
He said that Pakistani farmer was going down by each day passing while the agriculture crops in India had been doubled over the past few years. “We will take responsibility to develop agriculture sector on modern trends,” he added.

He said that during the past five years, the PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif had time and again helped the PPP’s government’s stay in power and the statements of Nawaz Sharif and Khurshid Shah were on record in this regard. He said that the PTI was bitter critique of the PPP government’s policies and his party had held demonstrations against the bid by Asif Zardari to become president of the country.
He said that the PTI would formulate independent foreign policy for the country while it would also restore the respect and credence of the Green Passport.
