Pb Govt used state machinery to win bye-election:Governor Punjab

Lahore: Governor Punjab Sardar Latif Khan Khosa has said that We respect Provincial autonomy but there should not be state within state, friends of PML-N wanted to make state within state but he wanted to make it clear to them that state should be first and foremost and there should not be any question on it .

He was talking to media here in Jinnah Convention centre Islamabad after presiding the eleventh convocation of University of Engineering and Technology Taxela.

The governor accused that PML-N has repeated the history of 1990 in recent bye-election by using state machinery for rigging only to win the elections. National media has telecasted and printed it. He said he will soon send a detail report to the election commission regarding rigging in the bye-elections. While answering a question, Khosa said Kala Bagh Dam could only be completed with the unanimous decision of all the four provinces and the Parliament decision would be the supreme in this regard.

The governor Punjab made it clear that the next election would be held on its due time. He demanded that the Article 63 should be applied on disgracing the PM and the President of Pakistan. He condemned the PML-N leaders for using dirty language against the PM and the President.

Later in Lahore while talking to the foreign delegation of different countries, the Governor said that all the countries have to make uniform policy to counter terrorism. He said the world has to acknowledge the sacrifices given by Pakistan against terrorism. He said peace of the globe is conditioned with the peace in the region.
