He expressed these views while addressing a public meeting on the occasion of laying the foundation stone of a road at Samtia Mor tehsil Krore in Leyyah. Malik Ahmad Ali said that provision of huge funds of Rs.80 billion for the improvement of social sector is a clear proof of the love of Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif with the people of south Punjab. He said that 24ft wide and 25km long road network costing Rs.35 crore at Krore Lal Aisan is a practical step towards it. He said that Punjab government has spent more than Rs.2.92 billion at the construction of 441km long roads for providing best traveling facilities to the people of Leyyah from farm to market during the last four and a half years.
Provincial Minister hoped that construction of new roads will usher in a new era of development as no society can think of development without better and comfortable travelling facilities. He said that two new colleges one each in Fatehpur and Krore Lal Aisan and Para Veterinary School and Agriculture Institute in Krore Lal Aisan have been set up which will play an important role in providing modern knowledge to the students of these backward areas. Elite of the area also addressed the function and paid tributes to the provincial minister for laying the network of development projects.
