IGP condoles Salman Ghani

LAHORE:Inspector General of Police(IGP)Punjab Muhammad Habib-ur-Rehman today visited the offices Dunya News to express sorrow and grief over the sad demise of mother of Salman Ghani, Executive Editor Daily Dunya.
The provincial police chief offered Fateha for the departed soul and also prayed that may Allah Almighty forgive her and rest her in eternal peace.

Earlier, the IGP met Mian Amir Mahmood, CEO of Dunya TV, and discussed with him the role of media and its importance to reform the society.
The IGP said that the media helps institutions and society in solving the real issues by highlighting the deficiencies in the social system. The IGP also said that media is playing vital role to reform the society like a law enforcing agency.

Meanwhile, Mian Amir Mahmood lauded the efforts of the IGP Punjab for implementing an effective strategy to bring down the crimes rate and ensuring peace and foolproof security in the province during the holy month of Muharram-al-Haram
