Public contacts should be promoted between Pakistan and India:Ch Ghafoor

Lahore: Provincial Minister for Planning & Development, Ch. Abdul Ghafoor has said that . He said that exchange of delegations between both the countries will help create an atmosphere of peace.

He expressed these views while addressing a luncheon hosted in honour of Chief Minister of Indian Province Bihar Nataish Kumar at his residence. The Chief Minister of Bihar was warmly welcomed and a contingent of police presented him guard of honour.

Chief Minister of Bihar Nataish Kumar, while thanking Ch.Abdul Ghafoor and Punjab government, said that he enjoyed the tour of Punjab province very much. He also thanked the Punjab government for arranging his visit to important places and said that he is also taking with him the love of Pakistani people and leadership of Punjab which he will never forget.

Chaudhary Abdul Ghafoor while stressing the need for strong economy between both the countries said that SM Krishna has simplified the visa policy which is a welcome step for people of both the countries. Acting Governor Rana Muhammad Iqbal, Sardar Malik Jahanzeb Waran, Haji Ehsan ud Din Qureshi, Aajasam Sharif, Hafiz Mian Muhammad Nauman and Ejaz Ahmed Khan as well as prominent political personalities attended the luncheon.
