Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Chairman which has not been controlled over the past few months. Chairman Imran Khan has stated that the law enforcing agencies have failed to prevent violence and damage to both public and private property in the Karachi. The constant violence in Karachi has disrupted routine economic activity. Those responsible for deteriorating law and order situation in the city are ineligible to be in the present government, for leaving the nation on the mercy of terrorism. The present rulers have to answer for the killings of innocent people. The law enforcement agencies have failed to nab even a single criminal. Pakistan Rangers were deployed in Karachi 18 years ago to maintain law and order but the situation is becoming critical by the day.
The Chairman has asked the people of Karachi to remain calm and restore peace in the financial hub of the country. Acts of violence will only cause further damage to the public and is not a solution to the underlined problem. PTI stands for peaceful political coexistence of all political and democratic stake holders in the country. PTI appeals to the different parties to shun politics of violence and maintain the balance of peace and harmony in the city. The concerned government departments need to start taking action for curbing lawlessness in Karachi. Immediate measures for the safety and security of the people and restoring normalcy in the economic activities need to be implemented. PTI offers condolences to the bereaved family members of those deceased and pray for the recovery of those injured.
