Turkish Ambassador calls on to CM Punjb

Lahore: The Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan, Mustafa Babur Hizlan called on Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, here today. Matters of mutual interest and bilateral relations came under discussion during the meeting. Talking to the Turkish Ambassador, Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that brotherly and friendly ties between Pakistan and Turkey have been transformed into beneficial economic relations and due to that there has been a tremendous increase in trade and bilateral ties. He said during floods and earthquakes, the Turkish government and people have always stood with their Pakistani brethren.

He said that unprecedented progress of Turkey has become a role model for other countries. He said an investment to the tune of 500 million dollars is being made in various sectors in collaboration with Punjab government and Turk companies. He said sanitation system initiated in provincial metropolis, in cooperation with Turkish companies, is being extended to other big cities in a phased manner. He said the first consignment of buses from Turkey for metro bus project would reach Lahore this month. He said Turkish investors presented a splendid example of mutual brotherhood by celebrating Eid with flood affectees. Talking on the occasion, Turkish Ambassador Mustafa Babur Hizlan said that the role of Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif in strengthening Pak-Turk mutual relations is highly laudable and as a result of the sagacious leadership of Punjab Chief Minister collaboration between the two brotherly countries is steadily increasing.
