Young Doctors Association delegation meets Imran Khan

Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek  e Insaf Chairman Imran Khan met with the delegation of Young Doctors Association (YDA) under the leadership of Dr. Hamid Butt and Dr. Nasir. The delegation informed the Chairman about the problems faced by the doctors and lack of service structure. Doctors informed Imran khan that the Punjab government is threatening their peaceful agitation and they requested PTI’s support.

Dr.Yasmin Rashid informed the delegation about the PTI’s health policy and told the press that the service structure and increase in health budget is the top most priority in PTI’s health policy. Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that it is the democratic right of every citizen to protest peacefully and if the Punjab government harasses the peaceful protest PTI will condemn and will also support it. Imran Khan assured them of support for appropriate demands. He also added that PTI will pay special Importance to education and health. Chairman said that at the moment health facilities are only available for 25% of the population. Once in power PTI will increase it to 50%.
