Lahore:Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Chairman Imran Khan, Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Secretary General Dr. Arif Alvi, President Javed Hashmi and Information secretary Shafqat Mahmood strongly condemned firing incident at a petrol pump in Khuzdar Baluchistan, sparking a whopping blaze resulting in loss of eighteen precious lives and injuring many others.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf condemns all acts of violence targeting innocent people of Pakistan and it is very unfortunate that the extremists are targeting civilians including women and children. Among the dead were seven women and four children, who had been sitting in a passenger van standing at fuel station. This act of violence is a result of sheer lack of concern regarding law and order by the current inefficient government. Baluchistan and federal government has failed miserably to protect and safeguard a common man’s life which is evident in Supreme Court’s verdict on Baluchistan case. Both the Governments seem to be helpless in controlling the law and order in the country.
PTI Chairman expressed his concern over the deteriorating law and order situation. Chairman also expressed deep sorrow for the bereaved families and prayed for the departed souls and speedy recovery of those injured.
