Motor Registering Authority starts issuing computerized number plates

Lahore: Motor Registering Authority Lahore has started issuing computerized number plates of the vehicles. In this connection LED 11 series number plates could be obtained from November 5 to 20 while those of LEE 11 series could be received from November 21 to November 30 from 8 am to 3 pm.

The spokesman of Motor Registering Authority has said that for obtaining computerized number plates, along with application original documents of the vehicle, original registration certificate, receipt of tax deposited and ownership updation in case of transfer should be submitted. He further said that the photocopies of above mentioned documents should be attached with the application for the registration of vehicles purchased during 2012. He said that number plates would be issued after one week of the receipt of applications.
