Most wanted criminal killed in encounter with Faisalabad Police

Lahore: Police has killed a notorious criminal in an encounter.according to the spokesperson of the Punjab Police,Today morning in Sadar Jaranwala police station of Faisalabad district, two unidentified gunmen were fleeing after snatching Rs 1300 and a motorcycle from a man when the police started chasing them. They opened fire on the police party near Rawal Chowk. The police also retaliated.

As a result, one of the bandits was killed on the spot while his accomplice managed to escape. The deceased gunman has been identified as Iftikhar alias Khara who was wanted to the police in more than 22 cases of kidnapping for ransom, dacoity and murder. A pistols (30 bore), cash and motorcycle has been recovered from his possession.
