Lahore: Punjab Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Rana Sanaullah Khan met the Iranian Consul General, in his office today. Matters of mutual interest came under discussion during this meeting which lasted for more than an hour. Rana Sanaullah apprised Muhammad Hussain Bani Asadi of his recent visit to Iran and thanked the cooperation extended by Consul General.
The Law Minister said that he minutely observed the criminal justice and police systems during his visit to Iran. He said that it is need of the hour to promote trade between Pakistan and Iran which was neglected in the past. His Excellency Muhammad Hussain Bani Asadi said that vast opportunities of Iran and Pakistan exist. He said that Pakistan can have access to Central Asian states via Iran. He said that Iran is desirous of seeing Pakistan a strong and progressive country.
