Investigation Police Misri Shah arrests Pathan gang

Lahore: Investigation Police Misri Shah have arrested three culprits of ‘Pathan gang’ involved in dacoity, robbery and street crimes etc. and recovered three motorcycles, 30 thousand cash, 37 cell phones, two LCDs as well as three pistols & bullets from them.

According to details, CCPO Lahore directed DIG Investigation Chaudhry M. Shafiq and SSP Investigation Baber Bakhat Qureshi to initiate steps for curbing the trend of dacoity, robbery and street crimes etc. besides effecting recovery of the stolen goods. On this SP City Investigation Umar Saeed formed a team under the supervision of DSP Misri Shah Circle Qaisar Mushtaq which worked day & night and was successful in arresting the three members of Pathan gang.

A number of cases of PS Misri Shah, Shadbagh, Rang Mahal, Gowalmandi and Mustafabad have been traced from them while the accused also confessed 16 cases under different offences. The arrested criminals disclosed that snatched cell phones and cash from peoples at gunpoint and also stole motorcycles with the help of master key.

The arrested accused include Shahzad Khan, Mirza Mohsin Baig and Adil Waheed while raids are being conducted for the arrest of their fled away accomplice Naveed Ahmed s/o Waheed.

The police raiding party comprised SIs Muhammad Alam & Javeed Iqbal, ASI Ameer Hussain, HC Shahzad Amjad, Constables Muhammad Amir, Khuram Shahzad, Imran Ashraf and Iftikhar Ahmed.

Addl. IG/CCPO Aslam Tareen has announced cash award and commendation certificates for the raiding party.
