Pakistan lost the T20 world cup semi final against SL and SL qualify for the final of T20 World cup 2012.

SL won the toss and elected to bat first. SL scored 139 runs in 20 overs and Pakistan had to chase target of 140. Pakistan team made one change and captain Hafeez made a weird decision by choosing Sohail Tanveer over Abdul Razzaq. Pakistan eventually could not score 140 and lost the match.
