Water shortage put patients lives on threat in LGH

Lahore:Principal Post Graduate Medical Institute, Prof. Anjum Habib Wohra while taking notice of non-provision of water of tube-well in Lahore General Hospital has constituted a three members inquiry committee. The committee will comprise Prof. Dr Muhammad Aslam, XEN Building Zafar Iqbal and AMS Dr. Javed Mirza which will inquire into the matter and submit its report within three days.

Prof. Anjum Habib Wohra has expressed his extreme indignation over the falling of the level of a tube-well and failure on the part of responsible officials to take prompt action. He said that stern action will be taken against the responsible persons in the light of inquiry report. He also thanked WASA for supply of water during the period of nonfunctioning of tube-well which secured the under treatment patients from problems. He said that prevention of such incidents in the hospital should be ensured and basic facilities be available in hospital without any interruption.
