Mansha Ullah Butt distributed cheques among heirs of Shoe factory fire victims

Lahore: Special Assistant to Punjab Chief Minister on Food and Environment Muhammad Mansha Ullah Butt distributed cheques of financial assistance of five lakh rupees each among heirs of 21 persons who died due to fire in Shoe Market on Bund Road. Nineteen persons who received cheques belonged outside Lahore while two from Lahore.

Expressing sympathies with the bereaved families, Mansha Ullah Butt said that Khadim-e-Aala equally shared their grief. He said that this amount cannot be alternate to the precious human lives but it will certainly provide some relief. He said that Punjab government is taking steps for checking such incidents. Those who received cheques of financial assistance include Mian Khan, Nawaz Ali (two cheques), Mehdi Khan, Muhammad Ishaq, Khushi Muhammad, Sumaira, Muhammad Rafiq, Misbah, Maqbool Ali, Mushtaq Ahmed, Muhammad Qamar, Aaisha Bibi and others.
