Minorities will protest against blasphemy film

Lahore: Chairman Provincial Protection Committee for Minorities’ Properties Senator Kamran Michael has said that blasphemous film is a conspiracy against the humanity, religious harmony and accommodation which will be foiled with the force of unity.

Senator Kamran Michael said that Christian, Hindu, Sikh and other minorities will gather at Chairing Cross (Faisal Chowk) at 2 pm tomorrow to express solidarity with their Muslim brethren and protest jointly against the conspiracy hatched by a handful of elements for destroying the global peace in the name of religion. He said that Muslim Ulema including Maulana Raghib Hussain Naeemi, Assembly Members, representatives of welfare organizations and media will participate in this protest demonstration. He said that a resolution will also be presented in the senate against this film. He demanded of United Nations and American government to award deterrent punishment to these responsible for this sacrilegious film. This film is not against the Muslims but also against the teachings of all the religions of the world, Kamran Michael concluded.
