Intel appreciates Punjab government for laptop scheme

Lahore: Vice President of Intel world renowned computer hardware and software manufacturing company, Intel and General Manager of Intel World Head Programme, John E. Davies has appreciated the Punjab government over free of cost laptop distribution among students and setting up of IT labs in schools of the province.

In an interview to a newspaper, John E. Davies said that most development programmes of Punjab province are based on positive thinking of the leadership due to which these development programmes have acquired status of role model for most of the developing and less–developed countries of the world. Answering a question, he said that Intel Company is establishing a software college in Pakistan to prepare a team of IT professionals.
