Bank of DG Khan Canal will be widened 25 feet more: Commissioner Dera Ghazi Khan

Lahore: Commissioner Dera Ghazi Khan Tariq Mehmood Khan has said that Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has given approval to make the bank of DG Khan Canal as flood protection bund for saving the DG Khan city from flood of Rodh Kohi on permanent basis.

He said that the bank of DG Khan Canal will be widened 25 feet and raised further 3 feet upto 13 km. He further said that the Mithawan Bridge at Khichi canal affected by flood water has been filed through earth temporarily and opened for traffic.
