Lahore: President Asif Ali Zardari Friday visited the Mayo Hospital to especially inquire the health of Lahore shoe factory blaze injured and directed the hospital administration to provide best possible medical treatment to them.
Earlier, submitted a report to President Zardari on the incident at the Governor House.It may be noted that the President had directed the Governor to prepare a report on the incident, which claimed lives of 25 persons and injured many others in Bund Road shoe factory two days back.
President Zardari had taken immediate action and asked authorities concerned to provide best possible treatment to the injured admitted to different hospitals of Lahore.
The President visited all the injured persons and inquired about
their health.The President was accompanied by Governor Punjab Sardar Latif Khan Khosa, Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi, Federal Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira,Federal Minister Firdous Ashiq Awan, Punjab Assembly’s Opposition Leader Raja Riaz, PPP Deputy Parliamentary Leader in Punjab Assembly Shaukat Basra, PPP Punjab President Imtiaz Safdar Warraich and PPP Punjab General Secretary Haji Aziz-ur-Rehman Chan.
