Clamity hit badly the City of Rajanpur:Ahmad Ali Olakh

Lahore: Provincial Minister for Agriculture and Livestock, Malik Ahmad Ali has said that Punjab government will utilize all out resources for the rehabilitation of flood affectees of Rajanpur district as it stands with the calamity-stricken people in the hour of need.

He expressed these views after visiting flood-hit areas of Rajanpur district today. Commissioner Dera Ghazi Khan Tariq Mehmood Khan, Secretary Irrigation, Director General PDMA, Special Secretary C&W, Regional Police Officer Dera Ghazi Khan and Deputy Director Operation Rescue 1122 were present on the occasion. Member Provincial Assembly Sardar Atif Hussain Khan Mazari, District Coordination Officer Ghazi Aman Ullah Khan and District Police Officer Dr. Shehzad Asif Khan gave a briefing to the Provincial Minister and informed him about the flood situation in the district. DCO informed the Minister about the relief operation undertaken by district administration. He told that all officials of the concerned departments are in the field under his supervision and engaged in relief operation.

The Minister said that he has visited flood affected areas of Rajanpur district on the instructions of Chief Minister Punjab and the government is with the people in this time of difficulty. He said that Punjab government will utilize all its resources for the relief of flood-hit people. The Minister said that 15 flood relief camps have been set up in DG Khan district where 15 Veterinary Officers and 50 veterinary assistants have been deputed for the vaccination of livestock. He issued instructions to the livestock officers and the concerned staff for the provision of timely livestock services and directed them to send daily report in this regard to provincial flood relief cell.
