Youth will have to reformation of rulers:MNA Hamza Shahbaz

Lahore: Leader of Pakistan Muslim League-N, Hamza Shahbaz Sharif has said that educated youth will have to play their role for the reformation of rulers. He said that there is a need to change the outdated system of the country through bringing forward such candidates who could ensure justice and supremacy of law and constitutions as well as elimination of corruption.

He was addressing medal distribution ceremony among position holders in intermediate examination 2012, at Alhamra Hall, here today. Chairman Lahore Board Prof. Nasrullah Virk, students, teachers and the parents were also present in a large number in the function.

Speaking on the occasion, Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that due to lack of appreciation of talent, lakhs of youth are leaving the country every year and in order to check the brain drain, elimination of corruption, nepotism, loot and plunder is essential. He said that the youth who have left the country will have to be brought back and a roadmap for country’s development will have to be chalked out with their help. Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that educated youth are the most precious asset of the country. He said that Punjab government is utilizing maximum resources for the welfare and betterment of poor masses as well as the youth in a transparent manner and distribution of laptops among the talented youth on merit is a proof of this fact. He said that Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has taken a revolutionary step by establishing endowment fund for the poor but talented students.

Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that some elements want division of provinces on linguistic basis only to satisfy their desire to become Chief Minister. He said that such elements are the enemies and not the friend of the country. He said that PML-N wants creation of provinces on administration and not linguistic basis. He said that he is proud of the fact that under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, the Punjab province is corruption free.

He said that present federal rulers have no integrity nor are concerned with the national honour and dignity. He said that these rulers should learn a lesson from Turkey which turned down the offer of writing off the loan of 30 billion dollars by America after 9/11 but did not compromise on national interests. He said that such offer was also made to Nawaz Sharif by America and Britain when India tested nuclear devises but he carried out six nuclear tests compared to Indian five. Hamza Shahbaz Sharif also gave away medals, laptops and certificates to the position-holders at the end of the function. Heads of educational institutions of position holder students were also given medals. Hamza Shahbaz also congratulated the parents and teachers of position holder students.
