Lahorites will soon enjoy transport service of International standard:CC metro bus

Lahore: Bus Rapid Transit System is a revolutionary project launched for the provision of modern, safe and speedy traveling facilities to the Lahorites and not only citizens of Lahore but residents of surrounding areas will also benefit from it. These views were expressed by the members of the coordination committee of metro bus project in their 7^th review meeting in the Transport House, here today.

Members Provincial Assembly Mehr Ishtiaq Ahmad, Aajasam Sharif, Secretary Transport, Project Director Metro Bus System Sibtain Fazal Haleem, Director General LDA Ahad Khan Cheema, Director Information Lahore Division and AC City were present on the occasion. Members of the coordination committee expressed their determination that the difficulties faced by the people due to construction of this project will soon be solved and no hindrance would be created in the flow of traffic anywhere. All the concerned institutions and officials are engaged in removing the impediments as well as ensuring that no emergent situation or accident could occur during the construction process.

On this occasion, Project Director said that this project is a gift of Punjab govt for the Lahorites which will be remembered by the people for a long time. He said that government is fully aware of the problems being faced by common-man and obstacles in the flow of traffic during the execution of this mega project and effective steps are being taken for their removal.
