Govt decides to take legal action against manufacturer of sub standard medicine

Lahore: Additional Secretary Technical Health, Dr. Anwar Janjua presided over a meeting of Provincial Quality Control Board at Civil Secretariat, here today.
The meeting considered 35 cases of sub-standard and spurious medicines and approval was given for legal action in 16 cases and registration of FIR in four cases. The meeting directed to further investigate 15 cases upon which action would be taken later on. Chief Drug Inspector and concerned officers were present on the occasion.
