Rescue 1122 to establish office in Industrial Area:Commissioner Lahore

Commissioner Lahore Division, Jawad Rafique Malik has ordered Director General Rescue-1122 to present feasibility report regarding the setting up of a rescue station at Ferozepur Road, Industrial Area.

He issued these orders while presiding over a meeting with the representatives of Ferozepur Road Industrial Association at Commissioner’s Office, here today. The meeting was also attended by Pervaiz Malik MNA, Special Assistant to CM M. Ali Mian, Secretary Industries, Secretary Environment, DCO Lahore, MD WASA, GM (Technical) PIEDMC, TMO Nishtar Town, Chairman FRIA Saadatullah and Col.(R) Younas Bharola.

Earlier, in the meeting, the Chairman Ferozepur Road Industrial Association presented petitions to the Commissioner, Lahore Division and Pervaiz Malik MNA about the problems being faced by the industrialists regarding the non-existence of a Rescue-1122 station, rehabilitation and construction of road and sewerage system and the security of the area. At this, the Commissioner directed TMO, Nishtar Town to submit a detailed estimate report on the construction of Anum Road so that construction of road might be started at earlier. He also directed MD, WASA to present an extensive report after examining the drainage and sewerage system at Ferozepur Road Industrial area and further directed that the cleanliness in the area will be the responsibility of the WASA. The Commissioner directed DIG Operations to increase security and police patrolling in the area so that the local people might have their activities of daily life without any hindrance or lot. He further directed the representatives of the association to beautify the roads of their respective industrial areas by developing green belts on both sides of the road and to entrust the duty of maintenance of the same to a committee set up by industrialists community.

Speaking on that occasion, Pervaiz Malik MNA said that the government was striving hard to solve the problems being faced by the industrialists community and assured that their problems would be solved on priority basis.
