PYF is playing important role for enhancing the soft image of Pakistan:Rana Mashhood

Lahore: Deputy Speaker Punjab Assembly, Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan has said that Punjab Youth Festival is playing important role for enhancing the soft image of Pakistan. He urged upon the people and media to fully support the healthy youth policy of Punjab government and play their role for improving the image of the country.

He expressed these views at the Asian Master Squash Championship as a chief gust at Punjab Squash Complex, here today. Malik Amjad Ali Noon, President Punjab Sports Association, Razi Anwar Senior Vice President all Pakistan Squash Association, Squash Champion Jehangir Khan and Squash representatives from Sri Lanka, India, Malaysia, Hong Kong and other countries attended the ceremony.

Talking to media on this occasion, Rana Mashhood said that Punjab government has held Punjab Sports Festival 2012 for nourishing the hidden, mental and physical abilities of the people of Punjab. He urged upon the people to play their due role in the national development by utilizing all their abilities through participating in sports and cultural activities at union council, tehsil and divisional level. Rana Mashhood said that after the successful holding of Punjab Youth Festival, the national youth festival will play an important role in giving identity to Pakistan and its players at international level. He said that the aim of youth festival is to polish the abilities of talented youth and create confidence and promote healthy competitions among them.
