Homeless will get plots in Jinnah Abadi scheme:Board of Revenue announcement

Lahore: Distribution schedule of plots, to be awarded to homeless persons, under Jinnah Abadi scheme in rural areas, throughout the province has been announced, according to which, as many as 33803 plots, would be distributed in 20 districts of the province, from September 10 to 25.

A spokesman of Board of Revenue informed that maximum number of plots 6717 would be distributed in district Sargodha, while in district Khushab 2172, Mianwali 3317, Chiniot 3784, Rajanpur 2052, Pakpattan 3541, Okara 1112, Nankana Sahib 3096 and in district Sheikhupura 2532 plots would be distributed among the homeless persons. Similarly, in DG Khan 874 plots, Sahiwal 1660 plots, Lodhran 417 plots, Narowal 314 plots, Sialkot 617 plots, Gujranwala 243 plots, Kasur 617, Hafizabad 354, Jhelum 166 plots, Rawalpindi 174 plots and in Attock 45 plots would be distributed. Provincial Ministers, Members National and Provincial Assemblies would preside over the distribution ceremonies of plots among the homeless persons in Jinnah Abadi scheme in every district.

It may be mentioned that this distribution process is the 2nd phase of Jinnah Abadi scheme and, by working expeditiously on the directive of Punjab Chief Minister, the Revenue Department has completed all arrangements for distribution of plots, while the concerned district administration and elected representatives have also been included in the process.
