John Hogg hopes strong ties through Parliamentarian visits

Lahore: Senator Ishaq Dar has hosted a dinner in the honour of Australian Senators visiting Pakistan at a local hotel, here today which was also attended by Speaker Punjab Assembly Rana Muhammad Iqbal.

Addressing on the occasion, Senator Ishaq Dar said that bilateral, friendly, trade and cultural relations exist between Pakistan and Australia. He said that both the countries believe in democracy, civic freedom and freedom of expression besides there is complete harmony over international issues between them. He said that PML-N is the creator party of Pakistan which has rendered invaluable services for democracy. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, result-oriented reforms have been made for the welfare of women and religious minorities as well as human rights, education and health sectors in Punjab which have helped to achieve the targets of good governance. He said that after coming into power, PML-N will eliminate loadshedding within a period of one year. He said that we believe in utilization of democracy for the welfare and independence of the people and PML-N leader ship is making efforts for making Pakistan a developed and prosperous country of South Asia.

On this occasion, head of Australian delegation, John Hogg lauded the good governance and public welfare projects in Punjab and expressed his satisfaction over corruption free good governance. He hoped that between the parliamentarians of both the countries. Senator Ishaq Dar also handed over a souvenir to head of the delegation for Australian President.
