Nursing school students complete dengue course:Principal PGMI

Lahore: All the nurses of Nursing School of Lahore General Hospital has completed dengue training course regarding sensitizing general public about safety measures and hygienic environment against dengue. Principal PGMI and LGH Prof. Dr Anjum Habib Vohra told in this regard that all relevant departments especially nurses should disseminate information about cleanliness and other preventive measures against dengue like a passion as it is the most effective weapon against this disease. Dr Anjum Habib Vohra said that under the vibrant leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, General Hospital will leave no stone unturned in order to curb dengue this year and the doctors, nurses and all the paramedical staff will fight out this menace while battling at front line. He said that nurses have the dual responsibilities to perform regarding their struggle against dengue as they not only take care of dengue patients but also keep their home neat and clean. Hence their good performance can play great role in defeating dengue. Dr Anjum Habib Vohra stressed upon the nurses to keep patient charts always up to dated taking it as their foremost duty as this chart helps the doctors to properly diagnose and cure the diseases of the patients.
