Rescuers find drowned boys bodies after 22 hours

Lahore: The Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) succeeded in finding out the bodies of two boys drowned in Ravi after hectic operation of 22 hours, The operation was started with response time of one minute by the nearest rescue post after drowning of three friends. As many as 20 Rescuers took part in operation with working of 6 rescuers in one shift. Services of local divers and swimmers were also coordinated in search of the bodies.

The limits of the operational area were expanded with rise in water flow of the River. Water Rescue equipment used in this operation includes Rescue Boats, Life Rings, Life guards and rescue rope. Body of Sadaqat Ali was found at Faizpur Interchange whereas body of Muhammad Ali was recovered at Dhamkay Village near Jaranwala road.
