Mohsin Ali is a hero of the nation:Shahbaz Sharif

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that student Muhammad Mohsin Ali who got first position in BA examinations is a hero of the entire nation and the place which he has achieved through his courage, hard work and determination despite limited resources proves that our talented youth have the capability of changing the direction of history. He said that able and talented students like Mohsin Ali in our obsolete system are a ray of hope. The Chief Minister Punjab expressed these views while talking to the family members, notables and media at the residence of Mohsin Ali at Village Mian Rahiman in Hafizabad, today.

Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif congratulated parents of Mohsin Ali on the excellent success of their son and said that the entire nation is proud of their son. The Chief Minister while giving allotment letter and keys of the house at Aashiyana Housing Scheme to Mohsin Ali and his parents said that the Punjab government is utilizing all resources for the less-privileged and talented students like Mohsin Ali. He said that the talented and hardworking students like Mohsin Ali are our asset and future.

He said that Pakistan can be transformed according to the vision of Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal by providing education to the students like Mohsin Ali where there is social and economic justice, equal standard of education and children of the poor have equal opportunities of progress. He said that education is not only the right of the children of senior officers, rich people, landlords and investors but it is demand of the social justice that equal educational facilities should be provided to the children of all segments of the society particularly less-privileged and Punjab government is vigorously striving for such educational system. Shahbaz Sharif said that the demands of social justice can be met by providing education to the students like Mohsin Ali who achieved first position in Punjab University despite difficult situations. The Chief Minister congratulated to parents of Mohsin Ali on the excellent success of their son and assured complete cooperation on behalf of Punjab government for providing higher education to Mohsin Ali. The Chief Minister while giving allotment letter and keys of the house at Aashiyana Housing scheme to Mohsin Ali and his parents said that the Punjab government is utilizing all resources for the less-privileged and talented students like Mohsin Ali as such children are our real asset and future.

He said that the financial constraints are a big hurdle in the future of lakhs of youth like Mohsin Ali, however, Punjab government is utilizing all its resources for solving this problem. Shahbaz Sharif said that Punjab government is giving educational stipends to 35 thousand boy and girl students from Educational Endowment Fund for the first time in the history of the province and is sending position holders to visit Murree, study tour abroad and presenting them guard of honour. He said that Punjab government has an honour that it has provided laptops on merit to one lakh and 25 thousand boy and girl students and set up computer labs in more than four thousand high schools. He said that depriving the youth of educational facilities like Mohsin Ali is a matter of ponder. The Chief Minister said that Mohsin Ali through hard work and due to prayers of his parents has achieved a marvelous success despite difficult conditions and he has come to this far-flung village to congratulate the parents of Mohsin Ali and salute their dignity.

The Chief Minister paying tributes to Mohsin Ali over his brilliant success also announced to make his village Mian Rahiman as model village and said that all basic facilities would be provided to this village and the school of this village will also immediately be up-graded. The Chief Minister also assuring financial assistance to the female student Hafiza Muqaddas Shahbaz who has achieved third position in BA examinations in Punjab University by securing 661 marks announced that he will soon call her in his office for encouragement.

Member National Assembly Saira Afzal Tarar, Members Provincial Assembly Sheikh Alla-ud-Din, Mian Shahid Hussain Bhatti, Ch. Asad Ullah Arain, Commissioner Gujranwala Abdul Jabbar Shaheen, RPO Capt. ® Muhammad Amin Veins, DCO Hafizabad Muhammad Asif, DPO Waqas Nazir and notables of the area were also present on the occasion.
