Provision of health facilities to the masses is on priorty: Kh Saad

Lahore: Central leader of Pakistan Muslim League-N, MNA Khawaja Saad Rafique has said that the priorities of Punjab government with regard to provision of health facilities to the masses are very clear and in this connection, the government is utilizing all available resources. He said that the aim of young doctors should be to serve the ailing humanity and they should not strike for increase in their salaries and allowances. He said that it does not behove young doctors to play with the lives of the patients by locking the hospitals.

He expressed these views while inaugurating OPD and emergency wards of under construction hospital at Central Park today. Members Punjab Assembly, Kh. Salman Rafique, Mian Naseer Ahmad, Safdar Ansari, Nadeem Sethi and Ghazala Rafique were also present on the occasion.

Kh. Saaed Rafique appealed the teachers of Central Park Medical College to also train the doctors to be good human beings side by side seeking knowledge. He said that the purpose of under-training doctors should be to serve the ailing humanity and no one has the right to lock the hospitals.

While briefing on the occasion, Chairman Central Park, Mian Javed informed that free medical facilities would be available to the poor and destitute patients. He said that this hospital is being constructed to serve the ailing humanity and not to make money.
