Nation should pledge to implement unity principle of the Quaid-i-Azam:DPM

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League President Senator Ch Shujat Hussain and senior central leader and Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi have said that unity principle of the Father of the nation Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah is the most important in the history of Pakistan today and the entire Pakistani nation should pledge to implement it in letter and spirit.
In their separate messages of felicitations titled ” Pakistan Paindabad” on the 65th Independence Day of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the two leaders said that for safeguarding the solidarity and unity of Pakistan we would have to turn distances into closeness to end regional, sectarian and all other differences and biases in the manner like the Muslims of the sub-continent had united for the two nations theory brushing aside all their prejudices, biases and differences on the call of the Founder of Pakistan. They said that due to this unity, Almighty Allah has blessed us with Pakistan and now it is our duty to safeguard and protect this blessing of God and through unity, faith and discipline work hard and struggle for achieving the great objectives of the creation of Pakistan which could not be achieved so that the cherished dream of an Islamic welfare state could be realized for which our elders had offered unforgettable sacrifices.
In the context of prevailing situation in Pakistan, Ch Shujat Hussain and Ch Parvez Elahi said that though the circumstances of the Motherland are not so ideal and it is facing very grave problems, difficulties and challenges but for surmounting all these, every individual of the nation would have to make efforts on personal and collective levels to eliminate price hike, unemployment and lawlessness and put the country on the path of progress, development and prosperity.
They said that for normalization of situation in some areas of the country in particular in Balochistan,. It is essential that patriotic angry groups should be brought back in the mainstream and for achieving this objective, serious and result oriented efforts should be made with sincerity of purpose and commitment on the individual and national levels besides the government.
