Lahore: Provincial Minister for Auqaf, Haji Ehsan-ud-Din Qureshi has said that Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif is taking keen interest in the development of southern Punjab and the development projects of billions of rupees for Multan is its proof. He said that Multan is the bastion of Pakistan Muslim League-N and Shahbaz Sharif wanted to see a developed city of Multan. He said that Shahbaz Sharif gave the gifts of technical university, agriculture university, ladies park, Mian Nawaz Sharif General Hospital and CNG air-conditioned buses to the citizens of Multan.
He expressed these views while addressing an Iftar party hosted by Rehmat Ali Qureshi at Rashidabad colony. Member National Assembly Tariq Rasheed, Zahid Bashir Qureshi, Sheikh Jamil, Prince Aslam, Malik Bashir, Khalid Khursheed, Mukhtar Hussain, Ahmad Younus, Shahbaz Qureshi, Liaqat Ali, Shaukat Ali, Afzal Qureshi, Ch. Saleem, Nauman Nizam, Muhammad Akhtar and Khalid Hussain were present on the occasion.
The Provincial Minister further said that the loadshedding has made the life of the people miserable even in the holy month of Ramazan and people are protesting but federal government is paying no heed and the people will reject them in the next general elections.
