CM Punjab starts meetings with party workers

Punjab Chief Minister, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that corruption free, prosperous and strong Pakistan is the main aim of Pakistan Muslim League-N and it will rid the country of crisis and problems under the leadership of Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. He said that Pakistan Muslim League-N has strengthened the defense of the country and the same party will make it an economic power. He said that the rulers from Southern Punjab embezzled resources in the name of development of this region but did nothing for removing the backwardness of the area. The Chief Minister said that tall claims of development of Southern Punjab were also made during dictatorial era but the area was even deprived of basic amenities. He said that Punjab government of Pakistan Muslim League-N gave special importance to the development of the Southern Punjab and billions of rupees were spent on development projects. He said that welfare projects like Daanish Schools, Mobile Health Units, Yellow Cab and self-employment schemes were also started from these areas. He said that a development package of billions of rupees has been given for the development of Multan, the implementation of which will change the scenario of the city.

He was addressing office-bearers and workers of PML-N of district Multan, here today. Provincial Minister for Auqaf Haji Ehsanuddin Qureshi, General Secretary PML-N Punjab, Raja Ashfaq Sarwar, Assembly Members, RPO, Commissioner Multan and officers of district administration and police were also present on the occasion.
