US Consul General visits Jamia Naeemia

Lahore: in Lahore Nina Maria Fite visited Jamia Naeemia on Tuesday. Peter Alene Alice was also accompanying her. As per the US Consulate, it was an informal visit.
She visited different sections of Jamia Naeemia and appreciated the services of the institution in provision of quality education.
According to a statement issued by the seminary, Jamia Naeemia Nazim-e-Ala Raghib Hussain Naeemi said Ahle Sunnah school of thought had nothing to do with terrorism. He said weapons were provided to minority sects during the Ziaul Haq regime after refusal from the majority, Ahle Sunnah people.
He said now majority was a victim of terrorism. “Islam is a religion of peace and that is the reason behind its rapid spreading”, he added.
