Rana transport service established under the banner of LTC

Lahore:Senator Pervaiz Rashid, has said that Pakistan Muslim League-N has come into power through the votes of people, and Punjab government is vigorously striving to provide facilities to all citizens on the basis of equality. He said, during the last four and a half years, the Punjab government did not buy any new vehicles for its Ministers, but, instead, by reducing their emoluments, development projects worth billions of rupees, have been completed. He said the Quaid PML-N Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has ensured provision of quality-oriented and dignified travelling facilities to all citizens, by constructing motor-way. He said, on the directive of Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, latest transport system has been introduced to provide transport facilities to the people at the local level, under which pollution-free CNG, air-conditioned and comfortable buses are being run.

Senator Pervaiz Rashid expressed these views, on the occasion of performing inaugural ceremony of Rana Travels Bus Service, under the auspices of Lahore Transport Company, at Thokar Niaz Baig, here today. Provincial Minister for Planning and Development, Ch. Abdul Ghafoor, Member National Assembly Afzal Khokhar, Members Provincial Assembly, Rana Muhammad Arshad and Mehr Ishtiaq and Chief Executive of Lahore Transport Company, Kh. Haider Latif, were also present.

Senator Pervaiz Rashid said that Khadim-e-Punjab has, during the last four and a half years, spent billions of rupees on the welfare and development of the people, which has raised their living standard. He said during this period, let alone purchasing vehicles, even an ordinary thing had not been bought for the use of offices. He said during the last sixty years, the rulers have given nothing to the people in Pakistan, but now the time has changed.

Answering questions of the media, Senator Pervaiz Rashid said that no front has been opened against any one, however, Imran Khan and Rehman Malik continue to target us. He pointed out that there is absolutely no difference between the statements issued against us by both of them, and, it seems, that the script writer of those statements is the same and, after the statements having been written in the President House, its one copy is given to Rehman Malik, while the other is handed over to Imran Khan. He stressed that the amount collected from Zakat and Fitrana ought to be spent upon the medical care of patients, and not for purchase of property. Senator Pervaiz Rashid said that it is the responsibility of federal government to end loadshedding, whereas we will discharge our responsibility in this regard, whenever the people will assign governance responsibility to us. He asserted that PML-N would be victorious in the forthcoming elections, with a thumping majority.

The owner of this rout transport service PML-N Member Provincial Assembly Rana Muhammad Arshad informed that, in the first phase, as many as fifteen air-conditioned buses are being plied, from Thokar Niaz Baig to Raiwind Bus Service route while their number would be gradually increased. He further apprised that, on the directive of Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, the fare on this route has been kept even lower than the notification of the government, and fifteen rupees, instead of eighteen rupees and twenty rupees, instead of twenty four rupees, fare would be charged.
Sourcves revealed that parimentary secrectary for tourism punjab Rana Arshad has granted loan for the purchasing of the buses on nominalmark up on direction of Punjab Government.He has been also given exclusive rights to run transport service on this rout.though it is a clear example of political bribe but opposition yet to mark question on this scam.
